The private network operated by SELF App
SELF App operates its own private network, configured around SELF App's identity, participation model and application needs. The network software comes from Celestial, which SELF licenses as a customer.
The components used by the product run on infrastructure operated for SELF App, with browser-based validation deployed in production.
How SELF App participates
SELF App integrates network participation into its browser PWA:
- Browser validation: Supported validator functions run from the application in the browser.
- Equal voting power: Validator influence is based on one validator, one vote.
- Prize Pool entries: Eligible participation contributes entries to daily, weekly and monthly draws.
- Integrated setup: Participation is part of the SELF App experience.

Current production status
The SELF App network currently provides:
- browser-based validation;
- peer-to-peer consensus between browsers;
- active Prize Pool drawings;
- sovereign identity and verifiable records for SELF App.
Operating roles
SELF App is a production browser PWA operated by SELF Technology Pty Ltd in Australia. It includes private AI, encrypted storage, messaging, mail, calendar, office tools, wallet functions and browser validation.
Token issuance is handled separately by SELF Technology Limited in the British Virgin Islands. SELF Technology Pty Ltd operates SELF App and does not issue the token.
SELF configures and runs its own network on its own terms, and holds no privileged position in the software it licenses.
