The Future of Technology Is Yours

Quick Start

What Makes SELF Different

One Privacy Platform

SELF App combines private AI, encrypted storage, messaging, mail, calendar, office tools, a wallet and browser validation in one progressive web application. A single recovery phrase provides the root for the user's client-held encryption keys.

Dedicated AI Infrastructure

Text inference runs on SELF's dedicated infrastructure using a 27B model. Ordinary AI conversations do not pass through an external model provider. Optional web search uses a third-party data provider only when the user invokes that feature.

Client-Side Encryption

Sensitive stored content is encrypted on the user's device. This includes AI conversation records, messenger content and attachments, vault contents and metadata, calendar event content, SELF-to-SELF mail and validator private keys. Service metadata and external email follow the specific boundaries described in the ecosystem overview.

A Live Browser Constellation

SELF App operates the first live Celestial Constellation. Browser validation, peer-to-peer consensus and Prize Pool drawings are deployed in production. Celestial develops the broader model for configurable, dedicated blockchain networks.

Natural Technology

SELF applies a living-network mindset to software: local intelligence, distributed responsibility, energy-aware coordination and sovereignty held by the participant. Natural Technology is the guiding vision. SELF App and its dedicated Constellation put that vision into practice.

SELF App Architecture

SELF App is delivered as a browser PWA from a static edge bundle. Application services run across paired servers. PostgreSQL uses Patroni for automatic failover, so primary and replica roles can move between database hosts. Local health-checked routing sends application writes to the current primary.

Core SELF App content is processed and stored on core application infrastructure in the European Union. Application, database, messaging, mail and call services run on dedicated infrastructure in Germany. GPU inference and object storage run in France. Documented boundaries apply to external mail, optional web search, payment processing and static frontend delivery.

The Technology Ecosystem

SELF

SELF Technology Pty Ltd operates SELF App, including the consumer service and enterprise implementation capability.

Celestial

Celestial builds dedicated blockchain networks configured around each organisation's identity, governance, economics and ecosystem. SELF App operates one of these networks as its Constellation.

Permissible

Permissible provides permission infrastructure for blocked AI work. It evaluates whether workloads can run on available machines under an organisation's rules and returns evidence with the decision. It uses elements of the Celestial stack for verification operations.
